Business Administrator Apprentice

You will be trained and gain experience in the following tasks. Providing support to the sales and finance teams, Answering the telephone, administrative duties using computer-based programs. Whilst also liaising with customers and suppliers along with resolving and responding to queries.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Amberley has recently purchased another publishing company and we are currently updating the processes to streamline with Amberley’s. The successful candidate would assist with this fundamental process. Once implemented, ideally the candidate would be able to independently manage the processes as described in the job description for the acquired company.

Freelance Sales Representatives

We are always interesting to hear from people who may be offer freelance sales services on a commission only basis. While we do have our own sales force, anyone who can tap into markets that we do not penetrate is welcome to get in touch. In particular, we are always on the lookout for people looking to merchandise our books into non-bookshop outlets in larger cities, particularly London and Birmingham. Work Experience

Our Work Experience can provide a useful insight into publishing. We offer placements throughout the year in Editorial and Publicity departments, depending on the level of demand and the workload within the business. Work experience is generally unpaid, although we provide a fixed contribution package towards (travel) expenses.
