Andrew Thompson

The Reverend Canon Dr Andrew Thompson MBE is currently vicar of St Margaret’s Church, Uxbridge. He holds degrees in Behavioural Sciences and Religious Studies. He has published on the area of Christian History in the Arabian Gulf, Christian-Muslim Relations and Interfaith studies. His publications include The Christian Church in Kuwait: Religious Freedom in the Gulf; Christianity in the UAE: Culture and Heritage; Interfaith Co-operation: A Case Study from Kuwait; Jesus of Arabia; Interfaith Relations in the UAE; Celebrating Tolerance: Religious Diversity in the UAE; and Christianity in Oman: Ibadism, Religious Freedom and the Church.
