John Gannon

About the Author:

John has a science degree and a Master’s degree in screenwriting. He is a fulltime writer/researcher whose work ranges from radio, television and movie scripts (winning the Lynda La Plante Screenwriting Award in 2006) to newspaper and magazine articles. After writing for Radio 4’s ‘Weekending’ and ‘Huddlines’ for many years, he has contributed toward many productions and publications including the BBC’s Mitchell and Kenyon and Dr Mike MacIlwee’s “Tearaways”, the follow up book to his award winning “Gangs of Liverpool”. He has recently co written a book with author, Kevin Roach, “The Beatles: Living in the Eye of the Hurricane” which will be published on 7/2/11.
